25 June 2026, Warsaw – Alfred Ramosedi, FCMA, CGMA, has been elected as the 93rd President of The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) at the Institute’s Annual General Meeting on 24 June 2026. In addition to Alfred Ramosedi’s appointment, Jasmine Zhong, FCMA, CGMA, will be joining CIMA’s governing Council in Europe, helping to provide strategic direction for the Institute and represent the views of members across the region. She will also be joined by 10 advisory representatives serving on the Europe Regional Engagement Group (REG):

  • Chair: Alix Lefort, ACMA, CGMA – Switzerland and France

  • Vice Chair: Malgorzata Stelmach, FCMA, CGMA – Switzerland and Poland

  • Frances Ghiradello, ACMA, CGMA – Switzerland

  • Iryna Bilous, ACMA, CGMA – Czech Republic

  • Jakub Klimontowicz, ACMA, CGMA – Poland

  • Aniket Thakkar – Poland

Alix Lefort, ACMA, CGMA, Europe REG’s Chair, said:

“As we navigate an increasingly complex landscape shaped by geopolitical tensions and rapid advances in AI, CGMA qualified professionals are uniquely positioned to act as trusted advisors, helping organisations turn volatility into opportunity. While these developments can strengthen strategic leadership and create new possibilities for growth, they also bring greater uncertainty and risk. That makes continuous learning and professional development more important than ever.”

“My priority as Chair is to strengthen our European community by expanding learning and networking opportunities for members at every stage of their careers, while also attracting the next generation of talent to the finance and accounting profession. By combining innovation with the strong ethical foundation that defines our profession, we can drive progress across Europe and build a resilient, future-ready community of finance leaders.”
