How will I know if I am eligible to vote? All eligible voters will receive voting instructions from the AICPA's independent tabulator, Survey & Ballot Systems (SBS), via email. Members for whom the AICPA has no valid email address will receive voting instructions via U.S. mail.
How long do I have to vote?
The voting period is 60 days and begins Oct. 2 at 8 a.m. Central time. All votes must be cast by 11:59 p.m. Central time on Nov. 30, 2026.
Who is the ballot service provider?
AICPA selected Survey & Ballot Systems (SBS) as the independent tabulator to administer the ballot and member vote. SBS is administering the voting process to ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and integrity.
How does voting work?
AICPA members will receive an email from SBS with information about the ballot once voting commences. Voting is conducted electronically through a secure ballot system. Eligible members will receive instructions and a unique link to cast their vote.

For technical support, please call the independent tabulator at 952-974-2339 or send an e-mail to support@directvote.net. Technical support is available Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Central time, excluding holidays.

Can I vote on one bylaw amendment without voting on the other?

Are my votes anonymous?
Yes. The independent tabulator discloses only general demographic information relating to the voting.
Are the votes being received or tabulated by the AICPA?
No. All votes cast go directly and only to the independent tabulator, SBS.
What is required for these amendments to be approved?
To pass, a proposal must receive the affirmative vote of at least two-thirds of the members voting on that proposal, and at least 500 members must cast a vote.
When will the results be announced?
Results of the vote will be announced as soon as reasonably practicable after the voting period closes and SBS issues the final vote tabulation.
