As Congress considers tax policy changes this year, the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) submitted a list of legislative proposals and recommended technical proposals that would reduce uncertainty and complexity for taxpayers, improve simplification within the tax system, and transform how taxpayers and tax practitioners interact with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).
