Draft a separate and narrowly defined engagement letter that explains the exact scope of services that will be provided (initial report, monthly tracking, and/or corrected/updated report).
The engagement letter should also clearly state it is the client’s responsibility to timely notify the CPA of changes in the reporting company’s, company applicant’s or owners’ information (such as address, driver’s license, passport, legal name, etc.) so that timely updates can be filed with FINCEN.
