Anna Maria Cicirello is an Executive Director with KPMG's Forensic Practice, based in Toronto. She holds both the CFF and ABV credentials. She has conducted investigations involving misappropriation of assets, bribery and corruption, and earnings management. In addition, she has provided dispute advisory services involving damage quantification and calculation of economic loss in intellectual property and shareholder dispute matters. Over the years, Anna Maria has assisted numerous organizations to manage their fraud risks by conducting fraud risk assessments and leading remediation awareness training in bribery and corruption, fraud risks, and ethics. She has worked with several government and oversight bodies including government ministries, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and the Securities and Exchange Commission. Anna Maria has broad experience in various industries and has worked across the United States, China, and the Caribbean. She served as a university instructor for several years teaching intermediate accounting, auditing, and lecturing on specific areas prone to fraud. Anna Maria has a long history of service with the AICPA. She is a member of the CFF Credential Committee, Chairs the CFF University Task Force and contributes to many AICPA financial forensics initiatives.
