This six-week online executive programme examines corporate impact on the environment from an executive-level perspective and provides practical strategies to integrate sustainability into business operations. With growing expectations for organisations to embed ESG factors into decision-making and adopt the triple bottom line approach — people, profit, and planet — this programme helps leaders move beyond traditional performance measurement toward sustainable value creation.
Participants will gain the skills to implement climate risk management, develop sustainability strategies, and integrate ESG considerations into corporate governance and business practice. The programme combines research-led teaching, real-world applications, and industry insights to help professionals address global sustainability challenges and create long-term organisational value.
The programme is delivered online in partnership with GetSmarter (a 2U brand), which manages registration and course delivery as an official partner of Oxford Saïd.
Through weekly assignments, live sessions with programme directors, and recorded learning modules, participants develop a practical action plan for sustainable business management. Upon successful completion, participants receive an official digital Certificate of Completion from the University of Oxford.
